Transfer terms for .hk

Bottom line
Dynadot, at $50.50 for 3 years, is the lowest.
.hk is Hong Kong's country-code domain. It was added to the root zone on 3 January 1990. Hong Kong also has a Chinese-script domain, .香港, run by the same registry.
Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) manages .hk and .香港. The Hong Kong government appointed HKIRC, a non-profit company, in 2001 to take over the domain from the university-based service that ran it in the early years. Its subsidiary, Hong Kong Domain Name Registration Company, sells names alongside accredited registrars.
Direct .hk and .香港 names, like brand.hk, are open to people and organisations in Hong Kong and overseas, as long as they pass identity checks. Second-level endings are stricter and require documents. .com.hk is for companies registered in Hong Kong, including overseas companies registered there.
.org.hk is for non-profits, .edu.hk for schools, .gov.hk for the government, .idv.hk for individuals and .net.hk for network operators. So an overseas business might be able to get brand.hk but not brand.com.hk.
Hong Kong companies, banks, shops, universities, charities and government services all use .hk. Many local businesses use .com.hk, which people in Hong Kong recognise as the address of a registered local company. Shorter .hk names are popular with start-ups and brands, and .香港 suits Chinese-language websites.
How .hk second-level domains work
A second-level domain sits one step below .hk: instead of example.hk, a name is registered as example.com.hk, with com marking out one branch of the extension. We track 21 second-level extensions under .hk and 4 of them have registrar prices so far.
The .hk extension is managed by Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Ltd. Who can register under each second level, and on what terms, is decided at the registry rather than by the registrar, and a few zones may be administered separately, so confirm eligibility with your registrar before buying.
A name under any of them has three labels — your name, the second level, then hk — and DNS works exactly as for any other domain. Registration data is published through the .hk WHOIS server, whois.hkirc.hk. The .hk registry supports DNSSEC, so zones under its second levels can be signed and validated end to end.
