What this site is
TrueTLD is a price comparison and information service for domain extensions. It is not a registrar, a registry, or a party to any domain registration you make. Registering, renewing or transferring a domain is a contract between you and the registrar you choose — not with us.
Prices are informational, not a quote
We collect prices from registrar APIs and public pricing pages and show when each figure was last checked. Registrars change prices without notice, add fees we may not see, or apply promotions with conditions we cannot represent in a comparison table. Always confirm the final price on the registrar's own site before paying. See our method page for exactly how figures are calculated and our method page to report one that looks wrong.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you register through one. This is disclosed in the footer of every page. It does not change the price you pay and does not influence how any extension or registrar is ranked, graded or described — the same verdict thresholds are published on our method page and apply regardless of which registrar comes out cheapest.
The free tools
The WHOIS, DNS, SSL and domain-age tools query public registry data on your behalf and return what the registry reports. They are rate-limited to keep the service usable for everyone and must not be used to scrape, automate bulk lookups, or probe infrastructure you do not own or have permission to query.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We work to keep data accurate and current, but we are not liable for decisions made based on information here, or for losses arising from a price, availability, or lookup result that turns out to be wrong or outdated.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version, which always lives at this URL.
