The short version

Browsing the site collects nothing beyond a functional cookie. We only store an email address if you explicitly give it to us for a price alert or the newsletter, and every email from us contains a one-click unsubscribe. We never sell data, and we do not run ad-tracking scripts.

What we store, and why

Price alerts and the newsletter — your email address, and nothing else. Both use double opt-in: nothing is sent beyond the confirmation link until you click it. Every notification includes a link that unsubscribes immediately, no login required.

Currency display — your first visit sets your display currency from your country (via Cloudflare's country header, not a stored IP address), then remembers your choice in a cookie. Picking a currency manually is remembered the same way and is never overridden automatically again.

The portfolio audit and lookup tools — the domain names you type are sent to the relevant public registry (over RDAP) to answer your question, and are not logged against you or stored afterward.

Server logs — standard web server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) are kept briefly for security and abuse prevention, then rotated out.

Cookies

We use two: a session cookie (keeps the site working — CSRF protection, nothing else) and a currency-preference cookie. Neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking. See our cookie policy for detail.

Third parties

We link to registrars as an affiliate and may earn a commission if you register through one of those links — this never changes the price you pay and never affects how anything on the site is ranked or graded. We query public registry data (IANA, RDAP, WHOIS) and a currency exchange rate provider to build the comparisons on this site; none of that involves sending them anything about you.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from any email using the link it contains. To have an email address removed entirely, or to ask what we hold about you, write to [email protected].
