Nameserver lookup
Which domains we have on record running on a given nameserver. Coverage grows as more domains get looked up on this site — not a full internet-wide index.
Frequently asked questions
Does this show every domain on the internet using a given nameserver?
No — and no tool honestly can. There's no public, complete list of every domain using a given nameserver, because nobody publishes one; it can only be built by observing real DNS lookups over time. This shows domains we've seen through our own site's lookup history, which grows as more domains get checked here.
Why do some well-known nameservers show very few domains here?
Because our coverage comes only from domains people have actually looked up on this site, not a crawl of the whole internet. A nameserver used by millions of domains might show only a handful here if most of those domains simply haven't been searched on TrueTLD yet.
Will the results for a nameserver change over time?
Yes. Every time someone looks up a domain here and it uses a nameserver we haven't recorded before, that connection gets added. A nameserver's list here can only grow — checking back later may show more than it does today.
What can I actually use this for?
A quick, honest look at which domains we've already recorded on a given nameserver — useful for spotting patterns, like multiple sites on the same hosting provider, without needing a paid API or bulk data export.
How is this different from paid reverse-nameserver tools claiming millions of domains indexed?
Those tools build large indexes by crawling zone files and certificate logs across the internet, which is exactly why they can show far more results than we can. This tool doesn't do that — it only reflects domains actually looked up here: a smaller but real, growing dataset, not a scraped or purchased index.
